Kim Kardashian’s wedding may have fizzled quickly, but her wedding style will carry on well into next year

Kim Kardashian’s nuptials might not have been able to make it through the waning months of 2011, but her wedding will live well on into 2012.

Famed wedding gown designer Vera Wang has included two gowns inspired by dresses she custom-designed for Kardashian’s August wedding to Kris Humphries. Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries on Oct. 31.

All that aside, the two Kardashian-inspired dresses are the focal point for the Spring 2012 White by Vera Wang collection, the designer’s exclusive line for David’s Bridal, now entering its second year.

An ivory tulle ball gown with Chantilly lace appliqués at the bodice, a basque waist and cathedral is inspired by the gown Kardashian wore at her wedding ceremony.

An ivory georgette mermaid gown features draped straps and Chantilly lace appliqués at the bodice. The dramatic skirt features basket-weave organza blossoms and petal embroideries. This gown was inspired by one of Kardashian’s two reception gowns.

While Wang recently made waves by sending black- and nude-colored gowns down the runway for the Fall 2012 collection of her flagship line, the Spring 2012 White by Vera Wang collection is classically bridal, with a blush gown being the only “stray” from the white spectrum. Both the Kardashian-inspired gowns are available in ivory and retail at $1,500.
