Meet Alexys and James

In sickness and in health are vows that James took seriously from day one.
“James and I met in March of 2009 and when we were supposed to go out for our first date I got sick,” said Alexys. “Being a gentleman, he offered to bring me some soup. Instead, he showed up but he didn’t have any soup!”
Regardless, his gentlemanly ways paid off. “We continued dating for the next two and a half years. James proposed to me laying in bed and the next day we went to Brian Michael’s Jewelers to pick out a beautiful diamond ring,” said Alexys.
When the two tied the knot on November 11, 2011 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Buffalo, James reminded Alexys that he will always take care of her, no matter what.
“He gave me a can of soup after saying his vows. It was the most amazing and creative gesture ever!” said Alexys.
