Typical seventh graders don’t often look at innocent school crushes and say, “20 years from now we’re going to be married.” We were kids with crushes, joking with each other during school, even ending up next to each other in the yearbook! We were distant friends through grammar school and high school then lost touch for 14 years. College came and went, and then our lives as adults persisted with the lingering thought, “I wonder what my seventh grade crush is doing now.” Life has an interesting way of working itself out… Eventually we found ourselves back in Buffalo and reconnected as long lost friends; friends who fell in love. While sitting at the family table this holiday season, Peter asked a Magic 8 Ball for all to hear, "If I were to ask Adriana to marry me in front of her whole family on Christmas day, would she say yes?" The ball's answer: "Without a doubt!" The rest is history. Can’t wait!
