"What a nice guy he is!" Those were the words spoken by my mom when she met Jason while he was painting our home eleven years ago. I didn't like the nice boys, I prefered the bad boys. We became friends, dated then both went our separate ways. I was a single mom trying to balance college and working full time. We met again and dated when my daughter was five. Jason was kind, caring, considerate and fun loving person. A year and a half ago I decided to call Jason after coming off a very heartbreaking relationship. From that phone call on Jason and I have becoma best friends, went to Key West and fell in love! My mom was right! Jason is the most amazing hard working man I know and loves me and my daughter Alexis. He relates so well to Alexis because he lost his father at a young age and has the utmost respect for single mothers. We dated last year, got engaged on the water on my parents boat at beaver island and are getting married on July 3rd, 2010 at the same location, surrounded by family and friends. It is challenging though, since Jason's company laid off workers and Jason lost his job in May. I was in a severe car accident and am still unable to work while pushing through intense physical therapy. Finances are tight but our bond is tighter. I now realize "nice guys" do finish first! We are soul mates and he is the father my daughter never had. We are so lucky and have come so far in the past eleven years on a broken road. Wehope to see "fireworks" for the rest of our lives. To the world Jason is one person but to me Jason is the world!
