Jeremy and I have been together for three years. I had kind of been dropping hints that after 2 and a half years, it was time to go to the next level. At one point, I kind of accepted things the way they were and I didn't let it phase me when his sister got engaged. Little did I know, he was planning something. I came home from work on my birthday feeling tired and just wanted to crawl into my pajamas. We ate dinner on the couch in our pajamas. At one point, I was tooling around online and the next thing I know, he's on his knee next to me proposing! Before I could say yes, I made him call my dad and ask for his permission. Dad's response was to ask Jeremy if he knew what he was getting into. Of course I said yes after we had dad's blessing.
